First Update

Planning the architecture.

  • Planning
gaming console build
Picture of the Design i was planning to work on.

Why did i start this?, i recently got an kit from my university it was an very old kit from the 2007's, a company named Raisonance created an gaming console called the Primer-I, it was made with STM32 F103 IC, and a IMU senor, it had one button and a small tft display. I got excited, i started having lots of ideas, making my own OS from scratch from running the games, building my own game, even thought, of programming it in Rust. So i started reading the manuals and the old websites how to use it, found and old ide, all the requied tools, it used R-Link, then i figured the way to get the old bin file to run factory app, and i sucessfully dumped the code in the console, the display did not turn on, when i tried looking close at the display the back panel was torn and damaged, and i tried searching for an replacement and guess what, the display was manufactured in the 2000's and they have stoped the production back then and there aren't any available in the market. It was so frustrating all of a sudden i thought why not make my own display and i started looking at components, the intial idea was to make a retro gaming console then i also wanted to add advanced features, so i ended up making the a fusion of both architecture.

What I did

  • Brainstrom (by myself)
  • started designing an architecture

Next

  • Going to design the specification
  • And order the components
